TEDxPenn brings "(R)evolution" to the stage in 2023. Steady growth. Stability. A predictable outgrowth of history. Or - A transformational overhaul. A sudden and dramatic reinvention of the world as we know it.
Revolution and evolution are a letter apart, yet they represent two modes of change that are on diametrically opposite ends of how they are achieved. What evolutions are our current realities a product of? What revolution, if any, are we going through now? Most importantly, as their syntaxes suggest, could the processes of revolution and evolution be more closely tied together than we think?
This year, we are bringing together 1,000 attendees for a day of insight and learning from our talented speaker lineup and performers. We have invited an incredible lineup of 10+ groundbreaking speakers across all different disciplines, including personal development, entertainment, engineering, STEM/technology, art, social sciences, social media influencing, business, social issues, and politics. Speakers include Anthony Russo, a world-renowned filmmaker who produced the Marvel movies, and Rep. Jordan Harris, the Majority Whip in the Pennsylvania House. Join us for a dive into the value of a multidisciplinary approach to affecting change, because we know that progress requires synthesizing many perspectives.
